These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Wealthly (the "App") operated by Templar Systems Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. Wealthly is available as a mobile application for iOS and Android, and as a web application at app.getwealthly.co.uk. By downloading, installing, or using any version of the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the App

Wealthly is a personal finance application that helps you track your net worth by aggregating your assets and debts in one place. The App provides tools including net worth calculation, property and vehicle valuations, pension tracking, wealth forecasting, and Open Banking account connections. The mobile version is available on iOS, with Android in review at the time of this update. The web version is available at app.getwealthly.co.uk.

Important: Wealthly provides general financial information and guidance only. It does not provide personal financial advice, investment recommendations, or regulated financial services. All projections, forecasts, and estimates are illustrative and based on assumptions that may not reflect actual outcomes. You should seek independent professional advice before making financial decisions. Past performance and projected growth rates are not guarantees of future results.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with others or allow others to access it
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Wealthly offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Wealthly Premium").

• Premium subscriptions are available as monthly (£7.99) or annual (£59.99) plans
• Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions)
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any price changes and can cancel before the new pricing takes effect

5. Free and Premium Features

The free tier includes: net worth dashboard, unlimited manual asset and debt entry, category breakdown chart, and profile management. Premium features include: wealth forecasting, what-if scenarios, Open Banking connections (live bank feeds), daily push notifications, and valuation history charts. We reserve the right to modify the features included in each tier.

6. Open Banking (Finexer)

The App allows you to connect your bank accounts via Finexer, an FCA-authorised Open Banking provider.

• Connecting your bank accounts is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent
• By connecting, you authorise Finexer to access your account data (balances and transactions) on your behalf
• Open Banking consent is valid for 90 days and must be renewed in accordance with regulatory requirements
• You can disconnect your bank accounts at any time through the App, through your bank's app or website, or by revoking consent with Finexer
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or timeliness of data provided by your bank through Finexer
• Open Banking connections are subject to Finexer's own terms and conditions

7. Property and Vehicle Valuations

The App provides estimated property and vehicle valuations using publicly available data:

• Property valuations are based on Land Registry Price Paid Data and the House Price Index. They are regional averages adjusted for property type and are not formal valuations. Actual property values may differ due to condition, extensions, renovations, local factors, and market conditions
• Vehicle valuations are based on DVLA vehicle identification data and an internal depreciation model applied to manufacturer list prices. They are estimates only and are not formal valuations
• All valuations are shown with a confidence range and should be treated as indicative. You can override any estimated value with your own figure at any time

8. Forecasts and Projections

The App provides wealth forecasts, retirement projections, and what-if scenarios. These are illustrative tools only.

• All projections are based on assumptions including growth rates, contribution levels, and depreciation rates that you or the App set
• Projected returns are not guaranteed. Actual outcomes may differ materially from projections
• The "4% rule" retirement calculation is based on the Trinity Study and is a widely cited guideline — it is not a personalised recommendation
• Nothing in the App should be interpreted as a personal recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise deal in any financial instrument or product

9. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, the App relies on data you enter manually and data retrieved from third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculated values, forecasts, estimates, or third-party data. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter manually.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or any associated systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App to store or transmit malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the App
• Use the App on behalf of others without their consent

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, code, branding, content, and the Wealthly name and logo, belong to Templar Systems Limited. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on information, valuations, forecasts, or projections displayed in the App
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not liable for any loss arising from inaccuracy in third-party data (including Land Registry, DVLA, or bank data)
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

13. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile > Delete Account). Account deletion is permanent and irreversible — all your data, including assets, debts, valuation histories, connected account data, and your profile will be permanently deleted. Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your Apple ID settings before deleting your account to avoid continued billing.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms or for any other reasonable cause, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
